Hello my name is:

Lexie's Dream

I am sponsored by Lexie's Voice.

My artist is Laura Thurbon.

I am here to support Lexie's Voice.

And I have a story for you.......

BID ON ME!

Welcome to Lexie's Dream!

Peruvian born artist Laura Thurbon wanted to give the real Lexie of Lexie’s Dream something to hold on to. When she submitted her drawings to Andrea Robertson, Lexie’s mom and the founder of Lexie’s Dream, with the design for the horse, Andrea loved it. The story just keeps getting better from there.

Laura is a very special artist indeed. She seems to have boundless energy and a desire to give of herself and her soul to the people who look at her art. Whether it is a traditional painting, a huge mural that she has painted on the side of the wall, or this horse she gives it her all. The stallion will hopefully help fund the amazing work of helping kids with autism through her sponsor Lexie’s Dream.

Laura came to the United States when she was 23 and is now a proud citizen of our country. She loves Arizona and even named her second horse in our Stallion Stampede Arizona Beauty. She is passionate about art and brings that passion to her other job which is teaching elementary school aged kids to see art as window to the soul.

Lexie’s Dream is an amazing mix of color and light because she wants to bring happiness and positivity to people’s lives in the hopes of bringing about a better world.  That includes Lexie!  Lexie connected so completely to the design of Lexie’s Dream that she literally hugged Laura’s sketched drawing of the horse to her chest. She loves the image so much. After hearing Lexie’s reaction, Laura created a miniature version of the stallion for Lexie to hold to and embrace. It made everyone so happy.

When you bid for Lexie’s Dream you will not only get a beautiful and colorful horse, you will get that spirit of humanity that Laura put into this amazing work of art.  You might not be able to hold the full-size Lexie’s Dream to your chest like Lexie did, but you will feel the spirit of humanity that Laura poured into this effort. Lexie’s Dream is not only a dream come to true for beautiful young Lexie, it can be for you as well.

Lexie's Voice

Lexie’s Voice founder Andrea Robertson experienced firsthand how difficult it was to get her daughter, Lexie, the care she needed—but she refused to give up. She made it her mission to ensure that Lexie, and other children like her, had access to the quality education and support they require.

She tirelessly fought for Lexie’s Law, an Arizona tax credit scholarship program for disabled and displaced students that allows them to receive specialized, private support that best fits their needs. Since it passed in 2009, Lexie’s Law has helped hundreds of children receive a more tailored education. Now, Lexie’s Voice is continuing what Andrea began over a decade ago by continuing to champion a family’s right to pursue the best care for their children.

SCOTTDALE ARABIAN HORSE SHOW 2-FOR-1 PASS

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show - February 16-26, 2023

The Scottdale Arabian Horse Show is a world-class horse show showcasing over 2,000 horses from around the world while providing entertainment for the whole family.

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show History

Since 1955 the Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has set the pace in the Arabian horse world. The first show was held at the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel which was a beautiful setting for a horse show. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show was a first class show from the very first day.

After the show's beginnings at the Arizona Biltmore, Ann McCormick bought 150 acres in Scottsdale and made it into the horse facility known as Paradise Park which served the needs of the show for many years.

Since that time, the show has been held at WestWorld in Scottsdale. It has grown from 50 horses to nearly 2400 horses bringing top owners, trainers and breeders from around the world competing for a chance at winning. A win at Scottsdale can mean big money in the breeding barns.

The 2023 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is proud to benefit these worthwhile charities: Arabian Horsemen's Distress Fund, Arabian Horse Promotional Fund, Friends of Vail Foundation, Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge, Hoofbeatz USA, Horses Help, March of Dimes, JDRF, Scottsdale Community College, Stallion Stampede, and Youth For Troops.
