Hello my name is:

Epiphany

I am sponsored by The Dream Center.

My artist is Jana Peterson.

I am here to support The Phoenix Dream Center.

And I have a story for you.......

BID ON ME!

Welcome to Epiphany!

That “Aha!” moment when you realize there is a different way to do something. That is the theme of this wonderful horse Epiphany. It was brought to life by long time, successful Paradise Valley artist Jana Peterson. Her use of color, patterns and trees are meant to give pause to the viewer. She hopes that this design can give people the freedom and space they need to think in new ways. That certainly is the case with Epiphany.

Jana describes herself as a colorist who loves to experiment with different textures and techniques. She is originally from Minnesota but her family moved to Arizona when she quite young. Her father was a very well-known architect and professor at Arizona State University (ASU) and her mom was an art teacher. From the earliest moments after her parents gave her crayons and paper to play with, she knew creating beautiful things with art was in her blood. She is set to give back to ASU by presenting works of Scandinavian inspired art for the opening of the traveling Broadway production of the Disney classic “Frozen” at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium in February 2023.

The sponsor for Jana is the Phoenix Dream Center, and they are thrilled by her design. The Phoenix Dream Center is dedicated to helping young woman who fall victim to the scourge of human trafficking. Jana feels strongly that all of us need to realize this problem exists, and that we need to approach the process of stopping it in new and better ways.  By bidding on this horse, you can feel confident that it will be an inspiration for positive change each time you look upon it. That is valuable indeed.

Jana dedicated her entire day for weeks to create the layers on Epiphany that evoke the sentiment of freedom and space. She discovered in the end, as she just sat back, that the horse itself is the Epiphany.  She hopes everyone who sees Epiphany will be open to the same feelings and believes they will.

I am here to support:

SCOTTDALE ARABIAN HORSE SHOW 2-FOR-1 PASS

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show - February 16-26, 2023

The Scottdale Arabian Horse Show is a world-class horse show showcasing over 2,000 horses from around the world while providing entertainment for the whole family.

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show History

Since 1955 the Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has set the pace in the Arabian horse world. The first show was held at the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel which was a beautiful setting for a horse show. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show was a first class show from the very first day.

After the show's beginnings at the Arizona Biltmore, Ann McCormick bought 150 acres in Scottsdale and made it into the horse facility known as Paradise Park which served the needs of the show for many years.

Since that time, the show has been held at WestWorld in Scottsdale. It has grown from 50 horses to nearly 2400 horses bringing top owners, trainers and breeders from around the world competing for a chance at winning. A win at Scottsdale can mean big money in the breeding barns.

The 2023 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is proud to benefit these worthwhile charities: Arabian Horsemen's Distress Fund, Arabian Horse Promotional Fund, Friends of Vail Foundation, Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge, Hoofbeatz USA, Horses Help, March of Dimes, JDRF, Scottsdale Community College, Stallion Stampede, and Youth For Troops.
