Hello my name is:

Arizona

I am sponsored by TGen.

My artist is Nicole Laizure.

I am here to support TGen Foundation.

And I have a story for you.......

BID ON ME!

Welcome to the Stallion, ARIZONA!

Arizona is a state rich in colors and spirit. Our great local artist, Nichole Laizure, has captured those riches in her stallion that she has brought to life. Fittingly she named it Arizona. Nichole has given her horse the platform to celebrate that beautiful scenery, and also allowed him to be captured rearing up in defiance of mediocrity.

Nichole brought another amazing horse to life in our stallion stampede. That horse is named Triumph.  It’s spirit is clear to everyone who sees him.  Nichole grew up in Arizona and has always loved and respected our natural beauty, and enjoys bringing that into her art.

The sponsor of her latest horse, Arizona, is The Translational Genomics Institute (TGen). They have harnessed the power of the human genome project to enable health care providers to give earlier diagnosis of severe medical conditions to patients and then aid in bringing them smarter treatments. The State of Arizona is the home of TGen not only because the founders are from here, but also because it is a wonderful place for their amazing team to live and work.

Nichole recognizes that feeling very well. She has given her horse Arizona the job of showcasing some of those natural wonders that provide the backdrop for TGen to thrive. Nichole painted Arizona in the foyer of the wonderful Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West as a temporary Artist in Residence. As she transformed Arizona into what you see before you, the museum visitors were transfixed by her work.

Arizona is a horse that wants to project the Arizona beauty to the people who look upon him. As an artist, Nichole knows instinctively knows that beauty is a way to persuade people to do better work and can even motivate them to do more. That is what Nichole has set her stallion up to do.  If you bid on Arizona you will add to his ability to touch the lives of more people in a positive way. When people see this powerful presence on display, they will be reminded how valuable positivity can be.

I am here to support:

SCOTTDALE ARABIAN HORSE SHOW 2-FOR-1 PASS

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show - February 16-26, 2023

The Scottdale Arabian Horse Show is a world-class horse show showcasing over 2,000 horses from around the world while providing entertainment for the whole family.

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show History

Since 1955 the Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has set the pace in the Arabian horse world. The first show was held at the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel which was a beautiful setting for a horse show. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show was a first class show from the very first day.

After the show's beginnings at the Arizona Biltmore, Ann McCormick bought 150 acres in Scottsdale and made it into the horse facility known as Paradise Park which served the needs of the show for many years.

Since that time, the show has been held at WestWorld in Scottsdale. It has grown from 50 horses to nearly 2400 horses bringing top owners, trainers and breeders from around the world competing for a chance at winning. A win at Scottsdale can mean big money in the breeding barns.

The 2023 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is proud to benefit these worthwhile charities: Arabian Horsemen's Distress Fund, Arabian Horse Promotional Fund, Friends of Vail Foundation, Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge, Hoofbeatz USA, Horses Help, March of Dimes, JDRF, Scottsdale Community College, Stallion Stampede, and Youth For Troops.
