Hello my name is:

Triumph

I am sponsored by AZAdvances.

My artist is Nichole Laizure.

I am here to support AZ Advances.

I will be painted at the Museum of the West

And I have a story for you.......

BID ON ME!

WElcome To Triumph!

Wonderful local artist Nichole Laizure brings to life this majestic rearing horse aptly named Triumph fresh off his victory in the big race. It feels that after all the celebrations of the rider and the crowd has settled down, Triumph takes a moment to revel in his own victory over his rivals. It is awesome that the turquoise finishing line tape that Triumph captured when crossing the finish line first is still proudly wrapped around his chest. What a moment of victory that we proudly share with all of you.

Our incredibly talented artist Nichole loves to portray her subjects in muted tones to evoke a powerful mood of strength and intrigue. That certainly is true with Triumph who is 1,000 pounds of racehorse full of muscle and determination. This horse’s sponsor AZAdvances loved the idea of the finishing line tape still on the horse rippling in the wind, as AZAdvances is working to win the race against diseases.  It is fitting that the finishing line ribbon is in a wonderful Arizona color, turquoise.

Nichole grew up with horses in the Cave Creek area of town, and portrayed Triumph in the same bay color of her childhood horse. Her Grandfather, a painter himself, instilled the love of art in her during her childhood. Nichole has been successfully using art as a way to interpret life and invoke moods ever since. We are very fortunate to have her on our team of extremely talented artists working with us on the Scottsdale Stallion Stampede. We know people will love to look upon this iconic piece of public art for many years to come.

Triumph will evoke the spirit that all of us have as we succeed in the game of life. By bidding on this horse, you will inspire all the people who look upon Triumph with admiration. Half of the proceeds raised at the auction will go to a charity of the sponsors choice, while the other half will be used by the Rotary Club of Scottsdale to fund scholarships and other worthy causes for the students and residents of Scottsdale.

SCOTTDALE ARABIAN HORSE SHOW 2-FOR-1 PASS

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show - February 16-26, 2023

The Scottdale Arabian Horse Show is a world-class horse show showcasing over 2,000 horses from around the world while providing entertainment for the whole family.

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show History

Since 1955 the Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has set the pace in the Arabian horse world. The first show was held at the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel which was a beautiful setting for a horse show. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show was a first class show from the very first day.

After the show's beginnings at the Arizona Biltmore, Ann McCormick bought 150 acres in Scottsdale and made it into the horse facility known as Paradise Park which served the needs of the show for many years.

Since that time, the show has been held at WestWorld in Scottsdale. It has grown from 50 horses to nearly 2400 horses bringing top owners, trainers and breeders from around the world competing for a chance at winning. A win at Scottsdale can mean big money in the breeding barns.

The 2023 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is proud to benefit these worthwhile charities: Arabian Horsemen's Distress Fund, Arabian Horse Promotional Fund, Friends of Vail Foundation, Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge, Hoofbeatz USA, Horses Help, March of Dimes, JDRF, Scottsdale Community College, Stallion Stampede, and Youth For Troops.
